The purpose of the UCI Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Affiliates is to provide an effective means to offer support and guidance to the Department, its programs and students, and to act as an interface between the professional civil and environmental engineering community in Southern California, particularly in Orange County, and the University. The CEE Affiliates include senior executives representing leading civil and environmental engineering firms (both large and small) and public agencies, as well as individual members.
Members pay annual dues. Members dues are used to support laboratory and equipment needs, other program enhancements in the Department (e.g., support of ASCE, ITE, and Chi Epsilon student chapters), student scholarships, and CEE Affiliate meetings and functions.
For more informantion, contact Jayne Hess in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, at (949) 824-4757, fax (949) 824-2117, or jrhess@uci.edu.

| The Civil and Environmental Engineering Affiliates are pleased to announce the creation of a new internship program at UCI. It is designed to: (1) help companies find qualified students for either part-time internships during the school year or full-time internships for summer work, and (2) help students find opportunities for work in civil and environmental engineering before graduation and in the process gain a better understanding of the type of work engineers do.
There is no charge for listing Internships in this program and companies do not need to be members of the CEE Affiliates to participate. Information on how to list a job/internship may be obtained by contacting:
