Engineering students have the opportunity to apply for various scholarships available in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and at UC Irvine. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, or a combination of academics, community service, financial need and work experience. Scholarship applications may be obtained through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Selection is made by of the Undergraduate Scholarship Committee and recipients are announced in late spring.
The generous support of our many donors and ongoing supporters allows us to recognize the accomplishments of our students, and promote academic excellence in the engineering field.
If you have any questions about the scholarships listed below, please contact Jamie Stewart Marsh via email at stewartj@uci.edu or visit the UCI Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships' website.

Lack of funds need not be a barrier to attend UCI; over 60% of UCI's enrolled students receive some form of financial aid. Students who demonstrate that they need financial assistance in order to attend may be eligible for scholarships, grants, loans, and/or work-study awards through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. In addition to awarding aid on the basis of financial need, some scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence.
Financial aid is available though the UC Irvine campus. General information regarding the campus application process, deadlines, and financial aid programs for undergraduate students may be found in the 2004-05 Financial Aid Handbook.
For additional scholarship opportunities, we encourage you to visit the UC Irvine Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
