State Key Laboratory of Software Engineering , China ( Wuhan University )
The State Key Laboratory of Software Engineering, China (SKLSE), was established in 1985. Currently the Director of the Academic Committee is Deyi Li (Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering), the Honorary Director of the Academic Committee is Huowang Chen (Member, Chinese Academy of Engineering). the Director of the lab is Professor Chen-Yu (Phillip) Sheu, and the Executive Associate Director is Professor Keqing He.
With a research theme “Software Engineering for Web-based Systems”, SKLSE has made major achievements in fundamental software engineering research including web service standards, semantic software engineering, analysis of complex systems, and enabling technologies in data and knowledge engineering, information security, semantic computing, evolution computing and grid computing. It has completed more than 200 research projects, published more than 1000 journal papers, and been awarded more than 16 honors from the Chinese government and Hubei Province.
The State Key Laboratory of Software Engineering is equipped with excellent research facilities including numerous workstations and servers, an OPNET network emulate system, a software interoperation testing platform Interstage V5.0, an OASIS ebXML R&R software system, and an ebXML interoperation testing platform.
SKLSE strives to become a major research center with international influence. It has broad contacts with universities and research institutions around the world, and offers a strong international scholar exchange program.
