The Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility at the University of California, Irvine announces the availability of a Postdoctoral Scholar position.

The successful candidate will be a member of a research team working in the general area of carbon nanotube research. The responsibilities of this position include (a) cleanroom processing (lithography), (b) nanotube/nanowire/nanoparticle synthesis, and (c) RF electronics development

The successful candidate must have strong background in one or more of the following areas: 1) lithography in a cleanroom environment, 2) nanotube/nanowire/nanoparticle synthesis, 3) work with RF electronics, 4) work with cryogenic systems, and 5) wet chemistry solubilization of nanotubes/nanowires/nanoparticles.  Candidates with a proven publication record in high quality peer reviewed journals are particularly encouraged to apply, regardless of the specific specialty skill.  A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field is required.
