Study Center

The CODE Study Center is the home of the Peer Tutoring Program and the CODE Computer Lab. It is located in 124 ECT. The Study Center is used for group study sessions, quiet studying, as well as a meeting place for many of the CODE clubs. The Study Center is conveniently located adjacent to one of the School's computer labs.

Tutoring Schedule

Each quarter CODE provides FREE one-on-one tutoring for engineering pre-requisite courses (math, physics, chemistry, programming), lower division engineering courses as well as many upper division courses. The tutors are current UCI undergraduate and graduate students who have taken the courses and done well. In addition to their academic success, they are also patient, friendly and committed to their tutees.

All UCI Engineering students are invited to use the tutoring program. In a typical quarter, we offer approximately 80 tutor hours/week to insure maximum flexibility for the both the tutors and the tutees. Students are always encouraged to meet with the faculty and/or teaching assistants for their questions. If however, their office hours conflict or there are still questions, come in for Peer Tutoring but understand that we are not equipped to "teach" the entire course. You are free to use the tutors as frequently as you like so use them often.
