Backgrounds:

In January 1990, he has been to American for further studying with full scholarship. In December 1993, he has gained Ph.D degree of Electrical Engineering from American Wisconsin University . After then, he has continued his Ph.D degree of Scientific Computing in Stanford University under the supervision of Academician of American Academy of Engineering—Professor Robert W. Dutton. He has assumed the director of Huang Zhangren Information Technique Research Institute of Wuhan University and the president of Microelectron and Information Technique Institute.

From December 1993 to May 1996, Ph.D Wang, as a scientist, has engaged in the research and development of Integrated Circus Simulation and Design Software in American Tanner Research Company. From June 1996 to January 2001, as principal engineering, he has engaged in the scientific research and production development in the larger integrated circus design software company—Synopsys Incorporation. In the summer of 1999, he has been invited to American Bell Labs for scientific research. In 2000, he has founded American Intpax Incorporation and assumed the office of chief technology officer of this company. In November 2001, he has returned China and worked for Wuhan University as a researcher and teacher.

Achievements:

Professor Wang gaofeng has published about 90 research papers, 34 of which has been extracted by SCI (3 papers will appear in SCI) and 49 of which has been extracted by EI (7 papers will appear in EI). Their papers have been cited 191 times by SCI (There are 163 papers with independent or the first-author papers have been cited by SCI). Their papers have been cited 169 times by SCI (There are 143 papers with independent or the first-author papers have been cited by SCI). He has published 14 papers in international first-class journal-IEEE (including 11 papers of IEEE Transactions with independent or the first-author papers, one with chief author and two with the second author) and possessed 6 items of authorized American patent and additional 2 items of American patent are in application. Ph.D Wang is the reader of many journals of IEEE Transactions and John Wiley & Sons Press. In 2001 he has been elected as Senior Member of IEEE. In 2005 he has listed in “( Marquis) Who's Who in America ” and “ ( Marquis) Who's Who in the world” in 1996.

Ph.D Wang gaofeng's research field includes Micro-Nano Integrated Electronic Circuit Design, EDA Software, Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems research, Micro-Nano Opto-electronic Integrated Circuit, Electromagnetic Field Theory and Communications Engineering, Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence and Wavelet Analysis and etc..

At present, Ph.D Wang has been in charge of scientific research projects including National Nature Science Foundation Key Project of Great Research Plan: Modeling, simulating and of Interconnects Synthesis (Total expenditure is 2,000,000 Yuan, sharing 700,000 Yuan); National Nature Science Foundation Project: Modeling and Simulation of Opto Integrated Circus Electromagnet based on Time-domain Multiresolution Analysis (Total expenditure is 200,000 Yuan); Foundation Project of National Nature Science Foundation Director: Integrated Circus Micromodeling Extracted Advanced Modeling Reduction Technique(Total expenditure is 70,000 Yuan).
