Academic Backgrounds:

In July 1984 and in August 1987, Professor Zhou has graduated from the

departments of Spatial Physics and Radio Physics, and gained respectively Bachelor Degree and Master Degree of Science. In Sep 1987, he has assiduously studied the Ph.D degree in Graduate School of China University of Technology ( Beijing ) of Chinese Academy of Science, and specialized in spatial Plasma Physics detection technique. In Sep, 1990, he has been to America for further studying with American scholarship. In May 1994, he has achieved the Ph.D degree of Radio Physics in University of Maryland . From May 1994 to January 1996, he has been post-doctor in National Institute of Standards and Technology for studying Bio-information Engineering. During the period, he has also studied the MBA course in George Washington University from 1996 to 1999. From January 1996 to May 1999, he has acted as advanced engineer in General Electric Company (GE) for studying and developing Satellite Telecommunications Technology. From May 1998 to April 2002, America Mobile Communications (NEXTEL) has employed him as advanced manager for studying and developing Mobile Telecommunications Network.

 

Achievements:

He has published about 50 papers in international celebrated journals and

many times read out in public his papers in international academic meetings. He has first figured out the radiation field of movement satellite antenna in magnetization three-dimension space spasm physics, and applied the result to laboratory of spaceflight and ground electromagnetism radiation. He has first found the chaos of protein macromolecular movement, which has had important meaning to protein construction prediction.

His papers have been indexed and extracted by scientists from England, Germany and France and etc. . Meanwhile, he not only has engaged in academic research in colleges and research institutes but also technological development in GE and NEXTEL, and he has together written out 12 internal technological reports with American patent application, which contains Satellite Telecommunications and Mobile Telecommunications and etc..

He has gained Overseas Outstanding Talent Funds of Chinese Academy of Science.
